About This App

Expense Tracker is a personal finance application that helps you track your spending by reading transaction-related emails from your Gmail account.

Data We Access

With your explicit permission, this app accesses your Gmail account to read emails related to financial transactions (e.g. bank alerts, receipts). We use the gmail.readonly scope — we can only read emails, never send or delete them.

How We Use Your Data

Emails are parsed locally to extract transaction information (merchant, amount, date). This data is stored in your personal Supabase database. We do not sell, share, or transmit your data to any third party.

Data Storage

Extracted transaction data is stored in your own Supabase project. Your Gmail credentials are managed securely via Google OAuth and are never stored by this application.
